Raegan Knobbe, Editor-in-Chief

I’m Raegan Knobbe, and I’m the Editor-in-Chief and current Sports Editor of the Union Street Journal. I’m a junior and this is my second year on staff. My specialty is sports journalism and I hope to pursue a career in the sports industry. As Editor-in-Chief, my main goal is to cultivate an environment that produces bold ideas and strong writing skills. Journalism and freedom of the press are essential to any democracy, and we hope to emulate those values in everything we do.

I don’t like bright colors, and I only play basketball in bright colored shoes usually, like the red and the blue. I think it looks better when you wear a brighter color on the court.”
