Hi! My name is Alisa Kovaleva, and I'm a junior. This is my first year with the USJ and I am super excited to learn new skills with the team! I joined journalism because I've always loved photography, but I also wanted to put a greater purpose behind my photos. I'm also a big fan of live music, and I love working in our school theater.

The pageant, hosted annually by student senate, serves as a mid-week show for students to attend, and for one junior or senior to be named Mr. Creek. This event and many others, including Shazam, Mario Kart, 3v3 basketball, and a silent auction all culminated into Creeks Power Week.
