Can Colorado’s top high school football recruits actually take Creek back to the top? With new rankings each year from 24/7 Sports, Creek football players are often in the list; you will find some of them at the very top.

Senior offensive tackle Oliver Miller ranks highly amongst Creek’s recruits.
He was eighth in Colorado for the class of 2026 on 24/7, 76th in the nation as an offensive tackle, and he’s a three-star commit to Kansas State.
Miller’s role on the team is key to state championship contention. As one of the top players on the roster, he truly believes that they can win back-to-back.
“We got the squad to do it again. Everyone is locked in, the chemistry is good, and we’ve been pushing each other,” Miller said. “If we keep that same mindset, we can make another run.”

One of Creek’s new transfers from Regis Jesuit High School is junior left tackle Jackson Roper, who adds to the list of recruits.
He is a four-star recruit, 193rd in the ESPN Jr300, and is ranked number one in the state of Colorado for the 2027 class on 24/7.
As a backup during his freshman year, sophomore running back Elijah Cromwell is another star making his mark in 2025.

A 4-star running back, Cromwell is ranked 75th for all high school football players in the nation and first in Colorado in his class on 24/7.
Cromwell believes the team around him is made for the state championship, because of how much work and effort the team puts in each week to prepare for games.

“We have to work hard, keep our heads down, and keep making each other better every week,” Cromwell said. “Early mornings, tired mornings, working out and preparing [week by week].”
As one of the best at Creek, Cromwell is encouraging the younger players to keep training to be a top player on the team and to continue the legacy of Creek football.
“Leading by example and showing that it takes hard work. And it takes overtime for you to stand out,” Cromwell said.
Creek football ranks number one in Colorado and 53rd in the nation as of Oct. 10, 2025, and first in Colorado. That comes with immense pressure.
“It’s cool being ranked high but I don’t think about it too much,” Miller said. “I still have to prove it every time I line up.”
