Friday September 22 at the Stutler Bowl 7:30 PM

Coming off a 21-14 loss to Eaglecrest, Grandview is hoping to get back on a winning streak. With star wide receiver Gunnar Gentry, who has committed to play Division 1 football at Wyoming, out with a broken hand, the Wolves have had to adapt and have placed senior cornerback Julius Carter Jr. as interim wide receiver. Carter Jr. put up 63 yards with five receptions in last week’s game. Grandview is also bringing with them a star-studded defense including seven previous All-Mount Massive League defensive players including Carter Jr. and senior safety Kevin Clark.

Cherry Creek enters this game off of a 48-31 victory against Arapahoe High School. The game showcased Cherry Creek’s impressive offense, including Junior Quarterback Alex Padilla who put up 346 yards from 15 completions as well as three touchdowns. Sophomore running back Jayle Stacks also scored three touchdowns. This road win helped boost Cherry Creek’s momentum and confidence heading into a big rivalry game.
