Responsible for twenty percent of Cherry Creek’s state championships, the boys’ tennis team is off to another incredible start. Currently ranked twelfth in the state and first in the Centennial League, the Bruins look to have another title on the way. There are three undefeated singles competitors, along with four doubles teams without a mark in the loss column. The experience factor has been crucial to this year’s success. Of the forty-two players on the roster, seventeen of them are seniors. That trend should continue to breed success as the younger members coming up have good role models to look up to for when they are seniors.

One of the top doubles teams in the state is the team of Andrew Duggan and Andy Hsu. The two seniors have taken an exceptionally important role for the team’s run at state this year. They are undefeated and have a very high chance of keeping that going in the seesaw world of Tennis.

As one of the last gentleman’s games remaining, it will be very interesting to see if Creek can add to the incredible legacy they have already built up to this point. There are currently eight events left on the team’s schedule including a home match against Grandview on September twenty second on the west side of Cherry Creek’s campus. Come out to support the Tennis team’s quest for another state championship.
