The library recently got some new and improved furniture including couches, chairs, and desktops for the computers.

The furniture was changed since new carpet was being put in the library, and the librarians figured it would be a good time to change the furniture as well.

“[Principal Ryan] Silva thought it would be the best time to go ahead and update the furniture. The last time the furniture was updated was some 20 years ago,” Library Coordinator Michelyne Gray said.

It was a very hard, and long process to move everything in the library for the new carpet and furniture.

All of the old furniture has been moved into I.C. Café provide students with a comfortable place to sit and eat. I.C. Café didn’t have great furniture, so it was a great place for the old library furniture.

There is a new shelf for the top ten books in the library so students can find them easy and decide if they like any of the books.

“The other furniture was ancient and not as comfortable,” librarian Laurie Hoffman said.
