Two students of Campus Middle School and one of West Middle School, the two primary feeder schools for Creek, created controversy when racist videos they had posted involved discipline and reactionary involvement from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). “We want kids to be able to learn and you can't learn in an environment that you feel is not conducive to learning and that you don't feel safe in,” NAACP Denver Branch President Sondra Young said.
