Hello! My name is Evelyn, and I’m a sophomore here at Creek. This is my first year in the Union Street Journal. I’m excited to show the stories of the students and faculty’s experiences here at CCHS. I joined because I hope to become an investigative journalist when I’m older, as well as the community in the USJ. Journalism is important in democracy as it informs and reflects about our own society. It’s why I deeply care about accountability and truth seeking in the media. Outside of school, I can usually be found with my family and friends, reading, researching, debating, or watching Doctor Who.
