Cherry Creek vs. Overland for the Homecoming Game

With nine championship titles, Creek’s football team is nothing to be taken lightly. They started their heavy practice schedule on June 4 and continue to push themselves throughout the season.

But for Head Coach Dave Logan, focusing on football shouldn’t be the only job for the football team.

“We want our athletes not only to make a significant contribution on the field but also become leaders in our community,” he said.

These football players will be taking this to heart especially for their big Homecoming game against Overland where they hope to feel the support from their school.

“I’m really looking forward to playing in front of everybody for the homecoming game and feeling all of the spirit that everybody has,” said Dom  Dominic Piloto, a senior varsity offensive lineman.

These players hope that this game will be an easy win. It will be on September 28 at Stutler Bowl at 7:00 p.m. A carnival will be held before the game at Greenwood Village Park.
