Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015, was the second day of Red-Ribbon week at Creek. Safety was the main focus of this particular event.

The main sponsors were State Farm Insurance and JW Kim Taekwondo. State Farm was represented by an intern, who has been with the company for a year now. She said, “This is my first event” and, “ I enjoyed it”. She was here to help provide auto insurance information to new drivers such as the benefits and advantages to having insurance.

JW Kim Taekwondo was at Creek to give kids a taste of how to perform in some basic self-defense moves.

The Bruins Squad was promoting their “No Place For Hate” campaign by having students contribute leaves to a “Tree Of Kindness”. The Student Senate and Spectrum were also on hand.

Some Creek students were also wore yellow to go along with the Red Ribbon Week themes. On Wednesday, it’s “Take Care of The Earth Day” so wear green. On Thursday, “Health and Fitness Day,” so sport favorite teams or wear athletic clothes, and Friday, the “Rachel’s Challenge” presentation, and wear Creek stuff.
